After finding the riches of North and Central America wealth was a major motivation in exploration and conquering of the regions of South America. Sent by the Spanish government Francisco Pizarro travelled to what is now Peru in search of money, people in hopes of converting and perhaps other things, but he had only one thing in mind. Disregarding Spanish authorities he and his men decided to go off on there own in search gold. Aggressively entering the Incan Empire, Pizarro showed the native their supiorirty, with guns and swords it took only a short while for 160 men to conquer the civilization. With the deadly weapons the only way to support the massacre was saying it God's work, and so was the conquistadors going into pueblos and looting the goods and sending them back to Spain causing great inflation in Spain. With the introduction of unexpected species of horses, dogs, and some plants that may have been brought accidentally the Natives did not stand a chance against the fierce soldiers, they destroyed warriors which lead to the destruction of the once emense civilasation. With the Incans unable to resist, the Spaniards were able to take all of the precious gold and silver and bring them home with them, causing an increase in Spanish wealth and a enormous decrease in South American wealth, which is still not even until this day.

Corey,

You are telling a story here, but your story has little analysis. You chose the topic of "exploration" as your effect, but it is way too broad. Try to find something more specific and this will allow for more analytical writing.
